Common Use

Gutron is used to manage vertigo, tinnitus, and imbalance caused by inner ear disorders. It helps improve microcirculation in the inner ear, reducing the frequency and severity of dizziness episodes. Proper use can enhance quality of life by improving balance and reducing discomfort.

Dosage and Directions

Dosage depends on the patient’s condition and response. The medication is usually taken orally in divided doses, with or after meals to reduce stomach irritation. Swallow tablets whole with water. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions carefully and do not adjust the dose on your own.

Precautions

Before using Gutron, inform your doctor if you have peptic ulcers, asthma, or low blood pressure. Monitor for allergic reactions or worsening symptoms. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if dizziness occurs after taking the medication.

Contraindications

Gutron should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to betahistine or any of its components. It is contraindicated in patients with pheochromocytoma or severe gastric ulcers. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding only under medical supervision.

Possible Side Effects

Common side effects include headache, nausea, mild gastrointestinal upset, and flushing. Rarely, allergic reactions may occur. Contact your doctor if severe or persistent symptoms develop.

Drug Interaction

Gutron may interact with antihypertensive drugs or other medications affecting blood pressure. Inform your healthcare provider about all medications and supplements you are taking.

Missed Dose

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed dose.

Overdose

Overdose may cause severe headache, nausea, or low blood pressure. Seek immediate medical attention if an overdose is suspected.

Storage

Store Gutron at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date.
