Lomexin

Common Use

Lomexin is used to treat vulvovaginal candidiasis caused by Candida species. It helps reduce itching, burning, and irritation while restoring the natural vaginal flora. The treatment promotes healing and prevents the recurrence of infection.

Dosage and Directions

The usual dose is one vaginal suppository inserted once daily at bedtime for three consecutive days, or as prescribed by a healthcare provider. Wash your hands before and after use, and follow the instructions provided in the package leaflet. Avoid sexual intercourse during treatment unless a condom is used.

Precautions

Before using Lomexin, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a history of hypersensitivity to azole antifungals. Avoid using other intravaginal products unless advised by a doctor. Report any unusual irritation or allergic reaction during treatment.

Contraindications

Lomexin should not be used in patients with known allergy to fenticonazole or any component of the product. Use with caution in pregnancy and breastfeeding only under medical supervision.

Missed Dose

If a dose is missed, insert the suppository as soon as you remember. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed application. Continue the treatment as scheduled.

Overdose

Storage

Store Lomexin at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date.
